I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling lighter, and a huge sense of relief today – both after hearing what I presume to have been Trump’s helicopter flying out of the city this morning, and to see the Inauguration go off without a hitch. And can we talk about Amanda Gorman’s beautiful poem?!?!? It. Was. Everything. I am hopeful that our city can return to some sense of normalcy in the coming weeks, and the ever present anxiety I’d been feeling for a while now will dissipate.
Continuing to publish these gorgeous weddings, styled shoots, and engagements have kept me going., and I hope you’ve been enjoying them as well.
We wanted to showcase the woodland area surrounding the property, and put together a whimsical winter styled shoot. It had just snowed the day that we shot, which gave the most beautiful reflection off of the grass near the ceremony area.
The bridal details were soft and woodland fairy-like. So many talented vendors contributed to this shoot, including a local jewelry maker, and custom menswear. The tablescapes and florals were romantic and soft, with gold details and curious trinkets sprinkled about.
The venue is a perfect mixture of romantic and whimsical, with several locations for ceremony around the property and a gorgeous, sunny bridal suite with the best light and enough space for a big bridal party to comfortably get ready together.
