Happy Friday!!!! I am not quite sure how, but this week has felt entirely too long (considering it was only 4 days for me). I think I am in severe cauldron cake and butterbeer withdrawal…
Anyway! Today’s real capitol romance feature comes from Cory Brodzinski Photography. The lovely couple, Kelly & Nate, are actually getting married TOMORROW up in Saratoga Springs, NY – so I am thrilled to be featuring their Georgetown engagement shoot right before their big day! Best of luck you two!!
(Isn’t this such a cool shot???)
But first! A bit about the couple:
Nate and Kelly first met in 2005 and quickly became good friends. Over the next three years, they maintained their friendship, but it wasn’t until the fall of 2008 that they developed a romantic relationship. From this time forward, Nate and Kelly were quite smitten with each other. At the time, Nate was living in Fairfax, Virginia, and Kelly was living in Albany, NY. Given the distance, it didn’t take long for thoughts of living together, marriage, and spending their lives together to surface. After some careful planning and a few stiff drinks (including something called a “Saki-tini”) Nate proposed on December 12, 2009 on the steps of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Five, seemingly endless months later, Kelly moved to Fairfax to join her fiance.
I love this long-distance relationship success story! Can’t wait to see their wedding pictures … but first a sweet and adorable shoot in Georgetown! Thanks again to Cory B for sharing!
Oh man! These two shots look like something you’d find in a frame on display – just perfect!
Kelly’s face here is just adorable – love it!
What an awesome find! Love this shot with the heart.
Congrats Nate & Kelly – and thank you again to Cory B for sharing!
