Something about tattoos and short wedding dresses just sends me into a happiness frenzy. I love couples and brides that aren’t afraid to be themselves or challenge wedding traditions and norms. Some girls dream of that perfect, white gown, over-flowing with beads or taffeta, like a princess or ballerina. And others just don’t. Amy was one of those gals that dared to be different.
Amy threw the ideas of gowns out the window and opted for an adorable LWD (little white dress) instead. It perfectly fits her sense of style and even more so it perfectly compliments her man’s style as well. Behold, Amy with Sean in tow:
<3 those chucks
This awesome couple and their wedding, was shot by own of my FAV DC area photogs, Gabe Aceves (PS – wanna know more about Gabe? Well, we did a vendor spotlight on him here).
Gabe shared:
When your bride and groom are willing to take their wedding photos in front of dumpsters and grafiti, its usually a good sign that the evening is going to be fun.
It was.
LOVE this. Thanks so much to Gabe for sharing and we wish Amy & Justin the happiest of lives together!! Enjoy!

Amy & Sean had their wedding & reception at the ah-mazing DC Pub & Reception Venue the Darlington House in Dupont Circle. Be sure to check that place out sometime – you won’t be sorry!
Uh, I ADORE the fact that they got married under a disco ball. Rockin’.
Am obsessed with these DIY Photo Booth & Guest Book stations – we did one for our wedding too and it was a HUGE hit! Will be doing a DIY feature on these soon!
