If you haven’t seen my Facebook status this morning, it’s been one of those literal rainy days for me. I lost my license last night (seriously, it’s like it found an invisibility cloak or something) and so at the concert I went to, I had to get big ole back X’s on my hands … and they are still there. On top of that and the lack of sleep, and the rain, well it’s just one of those days.
But – there is also SO MUCH to be happy about. For starters, it’s freakin’ Friday AND the show I saw last night was pretty freakin’ awesome. AND we have a beautiful mint green & yellow, springtime inspired wedding shoot to share with you today courtesy of Stephanie Leigh Photo Design and Simplicity Events (submitted via Two Bright Lights).
There is a super awesome detail in this wedding shoot that I am just obsessed with. You’ll have to scroll down a bit to see it, but it’s an AWESOME DIY wedding project that is super budget friendly, super awesome, and super customizable.
Enough from me – go get your inspiration on [and a reminder that the end of this post contains all the pricing info, in case you want to use any of the details from this Northern Virginia vendor created shoot, in your wedding!]

^ really digging that colorful, pastel statement necklace AND the succulents in the bouquet! Plus, I love when brides opt for a more “natural” wedding makeup look – and the bride’s fresh face look here with the soft pink lip is perfect!
Ok now this I am OBSESSED WITH! A wood palette escort station!? I will 100% be telling my couples to use this for their weddings going forward (if it fits their theme/design of course). But seriously – palettes are SO cheap – and all you’d need is to spray paint it and voila! Easy, simple, and CHEAP, DIY escort card display ~ well done Staccato Stationery!!

We have something to meet every couple’s budget, starting with A la Carte Services of $95.00 per hour.  We are mobile so we can come to you or meet you at a convenient location.  We also offer planning packages starting at $1,200.00 and up.”
