Happy Tuesday Romancers! Today we have a beautiful real Maryland wedding to share thanks to Megan Beth Photography. Amanda & Sonny’s vintage inspired, springtime garden wedding used many vintage details, coupled with DIY projects. They were high school sweethearts (awww!!!) and had been together for 9 years before finally deciding to tie the knot! Also…they have dachshunds. I mean – Andy & I pretty much need to be friends with Amanda & Sonny ASAP!!!
The couple decided to draw upon their vintage garden theme (which the stunning Londontowne Historic Home & Gardens venue complimented perfectly) for their colors and details. Bright teal and hot pink and a dash of orange made for a stunning color palette. I know you guys are going to love all their details!!

About the couple & their beautiful wedding:
Amanda and Sonny’s vintage garden wedding on the water was truly a labor of love with beautiful florals, lots of family involvement, and many old vintage details to complete their dream wedding. From the bride: We were high school sweethearts and were together for 9 years prior to our marriage. We love our two dachshunds like they are real children and hope to have a large family in the near future.
A lot of the stationary was handmade including the menus in a vintage chest with vintage family artifacts and place cards. My cousin helped with a lot of this because she is far more artsy than I!!
Do you love her dress as much as I do!? I love the flowing ruffles in the skirt!

A close family friend is in the Coast Guard and wore his uniform to hand out programs, my baby cousin was the flower girl and her “boyfriend” was the ring bearer.
We choose our venue because we loved that there was plenty of room, outside, secluded, and had beautiful landscaping. The history of Londontowne was intriguing to me and because our wedding had a lot of vintage details and it fit perfectly!!
Love the hot pink bouquets against the bright blue bridesmaids dresses!
How cute!! DIY alert – fruit escort cards from clementines and paper “leaves”- love this so much!
We had a vintage beach cruiser at the entrance with a handmade sign pointing the guests towards the ceremony and used a vintage claw foot tub to serve glass bottled beverages out of during cocktail hour. Sonny and I were transported to our hotel in a 1950’s rolls royce. The perfect ending to a beautiful night!!
Using those clementines again – but this time for table number holders – so cute, plus I love the pop of color!
Congratulations Amanda & Sonny! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, vintage-inspired Maryland wedding with us! A special thanks again to Megan Beth Photography for sharing her images!
