I love love love when couples venture from the Mall, Monuments & Capitol Building to take their engagement pictures amongst the streets of DC. In this case, KC & Adam used Chinatown (and then later the National Portrait Gallery) as the backdrop for their engagement pictures!
Photographer Karen Seifert got some seriously awesome shots of this gorgeous couple frockling across the streets of Washington, DC and capturing their love amidst the art of the gallery.

KC & Adam’s Downtown, Washington DC & National Portrait Gallery Engagement Shoot
How the met:
KC met Adam through a friend while she was studying at Virginia Commonwealth University. Knowing her love of all things French, Adam invited her to join him at the Cannes Film Festival just a few months later. They started dating right away, and said bon voyage as they left for two weeks in France.

The proposal story:
Four years later, Adam surprised KC with a ring while celebrating a friend’s birthday in Las Vegas. They knew they wanted to have a destination wedding, and they quickly settled on one of Adam’s favorite vacation spots: San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Congratulations Adam & KC and happy nuptials for your San Juan wedding! A special thanks again to Karen Seifert Photography & Two Bright Lights for making this DC engagement feature possible.
