Along with this morning’s Wedding Music That Doesn’t Suck Post, I am also happy to share the news that Lisa Marie with Sweet Tea Photography will be doing Cherry Blossoms Mini-Sessions this Cherry Blossom Season! Mini Sessions are 1 hour portrait sessions perfect for head shots, family portraits, couple portraits [possibly for a Washington, DC themed Save the Date?], baby portraits, or heck … bring Fluffy along and get some fun puppy portraits done!
Be sure to check it out if you are in the mood for some beautiful pictures with one of Washington, DC’s most beautiful backdrops!
Now, back to our wedding song suggestion. Bishop Allen is one of my all-time favorite bands. So when I knew I would be mentioning Cherry Blossom photography sessions, I figured this flower-themed song would be the perfect wedding song suggestion for today’s post. Lyrics include:
Oh, my shrinking violet
I left my basket of impatience at your door
I brought my tulips for your two lips
But, the bulb don’t burn anymore
A perfect little folk-rock/indie-rock song that I think would make a great processional song, or first dance song. What do you think?

Oh…Cherry Blossoms, I so wish we had some close by to do portrait sessions. They’re such a beautiful backdrop!
