Melinda & Brian’s Alternative Washington, DC Wedding on a Boat

From the photographer:

Melinda & Brian were married in Alexandria, Virginia on a beautiful Friday in September on the fabulous Nina’s Dandy Dinnerboat. After a very touching first look, Melinda, Brian, and their bridal party spent a few hours driving around Alexandria for some fun couple and bridal party photos. The ceremony took place on the top level of the boat with the water in the background and the occasional plane flying overhead. Melinda wore a beautiful birdcage veil for the ceremony, and Brian’s tux was decorated with a purple rose bout. The guests were ushered into the boat for dinner with tables labeled with yummy dinner locations enjoyed by the couple. For the next few hours, guests ate, talked, laughed, and marveled at the DC skyline at night… including the Washington National’s stadium lit up for a game (they beat the Astros 4-3!)

Ah! How awesome was it that they were able to pass by Nat’s Stadium and see the stadium all lit up!? What a cool/different venue for the Washington, DC area. Plenty of awesome views as well! Enjoy!
