Discerning eyes may have noticed a lull in our blog posts of late. Have no fear, dear Romancers! Capitol Romance is alive and well, and busy! Pivoting through a pandemic. Families growing, people moving, jobs changing. Sound familiar? I daresay many of you (whether celebrating a 10-Year Anniversary or in that lovely Nearly-Engaged-Stage) have also been pivoting and evolving as we emerged from behind our masks.

First, allow me to introduce myself as a new voice here on the Blog. Hi, I’m Amye! I joined the Capitol Romance Weddings team last year. In addition to coordinating client’s awesome weddings, I’m excited to flex my blogging muscles here and as a contributor to our Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest pages.
Actually, in 2022 #TeamCapRo grew with the addition of three Coordinators: myself, Drew and Angie. Expanding the team meant that we were able to serve up some gorgeous and fun weddings last year as the wedding industry found its “new normal.” Getting back into familiar spaces like Josephine Butler Parks Center, Eastern Market, Lincoln’s Cottage and others felt like a homecoming … but witnessing people gather together to celebrate love again was truly something special.

We’ve got some great clients and fresh content lined up for 2023. (If you’re looking for a wedding coordinator in 2023 or 2024, our contact form is open!) For now, I’ll share a sneak peek of a few of our recent Capitol Romance weddings. Leave some love in the comments if romance is alive and well in your world too!
