Is that … could it be … the yellow orb that’s been missing from the sky…. GAH IT’S THE SUN – FINALLY! Romancers – I can’t lie, the last week+ of clouds has been ROUGH. Couple that with a nasty cold that swept our house and yowza it’s been rough. We did escape last weekend to see our bestest friends in Pittsburgh – which was TRULY amazing and we are staring down vacation in Arizona (with just an all-day conference tomorrow standing in between me and that PTO).
Amanda has been HARD AT WORK getting this blog back in order, the wedding coordination team revamped (hire us!) and a bunch of other things we will be launching throughout the year. Thanks (as always) for being patient with us as we put another marker in the journey that is this business! I still can’t believe this little biz is still going, 11 years later …
The idea for this styled shoot was born on a walk through Maksimir park – the biggest park in Zagreb, Croatia. The Vidikovac (meaning viewpoint in Croatian) is a beautiful historic building overlooking the park. The idea was to use this gorgeous setting to present some of the current trends in the wedding industry. The setup was done for 6 guests, representing one of the biggest current trends — micro weddings. As for the colours, we decided to play with the Pantone colours of the year – Illuminating Yellow and Ultimate Gray. Although these 2 colours seem like they cannot work well together, we believe we proved otherwise with these pictures. And for the sugar at the end, we decided to play with the single-serve or mono-portion wedding cake trend which we believe is going to be huge this wedding season.
