More brides in hats – what a look! Really feeling this moody, muted shoot today as I keep things low key recooping from my booster shot yesterday. So far just some low-grade aches and feeling a bit funky, but nothing like post shot-2 recovery. Hoping it stays this way .. but even if it doesn’t, I don’t care because I am just happy to be boosted before my December weddings! Happy Day before Thanksgiving to those that celebrate – hopefully folx get some time off work and time with (low risk) family visits and LOTS. OF. FOOD.
We had fun designing and setting up this dark and moody styled shoot. We have been involved with many styled shoots but they have all been light and airy, and we wanted to get out of our normal look, and set up a dark and moody shoot.
It was a perfect day for the shoot with it being overcast and a darker day!
We added a lot of black and gold accents with little pops of white. The wooden banquet tables were set with black chargers, black napkins with a feather tucked into the knot, gold candlesticks with black candles, and a greenery swag down the center, brought the moody look altogether! The florals really made the look come to life with the dark blacks, dark green and white. The exposed brick in the venue, peacock chair, and flower hat all finished the look!
