It was a whirlwind of a weekend with family in Pittsburgh celebrating our niece’s birthday. In less than 8 hours on Saturday, we were able to do something we couldn’t do in 1.5 years in DC…go under contract on a house! It still feels surreal, but also stressful with the seemingly endless list of things to get done, from a distance, nonetheless. But we couldn’t be more excited for our new home. Since our last visit a couple weeks ago, Charlie couldn’t stop talking about going back to Pittsburgh, so I’m hopeful that his enthusiasm doesn’t wane over the next couple months.
I am loving the moody, spooky vibes of today’s styled shoot. The dark colors, the skulls, the ominous feeling of the woods…it all comes together for some dreamy, Gothic vibes.
We noticed that #gothicwedding was trending on Tik Tok and wanted to create a style of wedding that took gothic Halloween elements and made them ethereal and tasteful. The two styles were married in this stunning picnic elopement in the forests of Oahu, Hawaii.
