I am happy to see the temperatures starting to fall, and become more tolerable around here, though I could use a bit more sunshine than we’re seeing today. I can’t believe we’re already nearing the end of September, and the last quarter of the year. Anyone else still in the pandemic time warp?
For today, we have a lovely vow renewal at the iconic, Union Station.
Andrea and Justin met in 2009 at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. We were both in school to be teachers, and got married in 2011 at the local courthouse. We then had two children, and then adopted two more. Having a big wedding was never on our radar.
We wanted to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary by renewing our vows, and having wedding pictures for the first time. We are both history teachers, and several years ago, I brought students on a trip to DC, and fell in love with Union Station. About two years ago we decided to take this trip. We planned a 12 day trip by train to travel to DC, Philadelphia, and Boston. We wanted to be in DC the day of our wedding anniversary, and to celebrate the 4th and see the fireworks at the National Mall.
