The week is half over and I. Am. Dragging. We had a great weekend, mostly relaxing on Saturday, and then hitting up Langdon pool and celebrating our anniversary on Sunday. We didn’t get our act together to go out, just the two of us, so we ordered out from Gravitas, one of our local favorites, and it was delicious! I highly recommend checking them out in Ivy City, and for an extra special experience, reserve the Chef’s Counter!
Some big changes are coming to the Britanik household, so I’m gearing up, and trying not to stress out too much, and I’m already looking forward to the weekend. Hope you’re all having a great week!
My hometown is home to Rib Mountain State Park and the Granite Peak ski area (Wisconsin’s top Winter resort) which includes many beautiful and scenic trails, and I thought it would be the perfect backdrop for this bohemian elopement styled shoot.
I reached out to some local vendors for collaboration, so we put our creative minds together to create some amazing content, from the vintage candle holders, furniture, lace linens, cake and of course, the corgi — many items were thrifted. We hiked a mile up on the Quarry trail for an intimate vow exchange, and hiked back down for a sunset session on the ski hill that included cake, bubbly, and delicious charcuterie.
