Happy Monday, Romancers! I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weekend we had here in DC. We took Charlie on a Dino Safari (highly recommend if you have little kids in your lives), spent yesterday afternoon at the park, and his Grammy came to visit for the day. Thank you, science, for allowing us to see family again! Justin and I are still waiting on our vaccines, but the rest of our family is now fully vaccinated, so I see some visits in our not-so-distant future.
Let’s get this Monday started with a gorgeous and fun engagement session!
We met through my close friends who went to Cassie’s bar, and had a great time. My friends told me about Cassie and thought I should meet her. On a random November evening, I went with a couple of friends to Union Market in where Cassie was bartending. Cassie says she noticed me outside of the window before I even entered the establishment. When I sat down and ordered my first drink, we immediately connected. When it was time to leave, I wrote my number on the receipt (old school style), and Cassie handed me her phone. Meeting that night, led to our first date, and five years later we are heading towards the alter.
For all couples that are planning a wedding, especially during this pandemic, we offer the following words of advice; communicate openly with one another, take one task at a time, and do not be afraid to ask for help.
Cassie & I have been looking forward to our big day for a while. We had to postpone due to COVID-19, so we are now looking forward to safely having fun, enjoying good cocktails and food, and dancing the evening away in Baltimore! We are excited for the day to celebrate our love with our family & friends!
