How is it already Monday again?!?! While we didn’t tackle much this weekend, it still just flew by. We continued our annual tradition of filling our bellies with dim sum for Chinese New Year with our good friends. Baby boy had his first taste of Peking duck, and he loved it. That, coupled with his 3-day streak of sleep through the night, I’m feeling energized today! So let’s start the week off with this sweet engagement session, highlighting Navy Yard, and the National Mall.
Jess & Jason met through a mutual love of politics, and found they had further mutual loves, like Disney parks, theatre, Harry Potter, and making a difference in the world. They were both working in DC when they met and have remained there, loving how at the epicenter of everything it keeps them. They love Disney cruises, Arrested Development, the Obamas, and traveling, hints of which can all be seen at their wedding (coming to the blog soon!).
For their engagement session, we did a whirlwind tour of some of their favorite DC spots: from their favorite ice cream parlor, Ice Cream Jubilee, to the bridge at Yards Park, from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial, we hit as many places as we could in our time together.
