Monday – after the last weekend in August for 2019 and some Fall-feeling weather. I’m hanging out in the Juror’s Lounge in DC Court today (Jury Duty! Civic Duty! Yay!) attempting to not think about all the things I need to be doing at work instead … we have an insane backlog of real weddings to keep pumping out, so I am going to try my HARDEST keep up with Kara and continue publishing and sharing them … but as usual, we’re about to head into some person insanity with Fall wedding season, work travel for Andy & I, transitioning Conrad to Day Care and sooooo many other things. One day at a time, right?
For today, we have a GORGEOUS Tabard Inn DC wedding – it’s been a while since we’ve had a Tabard Inn wedding feature, so excited to get that gorgeous space back on our blog and share the beautiful details of Theresa & Armando’s wedding day.
Theresa and Armando met online after both moving back to the DC area after many years away – he from Miami and her from NYC. They connected over a mutual hobby of running and wanting to explore all that DC has to offer, especially as it had changed so much since moving back.
When it came time to tie the knot, they knew DC would be the perfect location, and opted for an intimate wedding with only their families and closest friends in attendance.
On one of the hottest days of the year, the garden courtyard at the Tabard Inn was a serene setting to say, “I Do”.
We made the most of our short time with this adorable couple, creating fun portraits in a nearby alley with the cutest Mr & Mrs balloons.
Our favorite moment was when guests popped streamer cannons as they recessed down the aisle as newlyweds.
