I know a lot of bloggers don’t like blogging styled shoots anymore – but some of them are just SO fun and inspiring, I still publish them – because when else do you get to see a bride in this rad of a dress, with brightly colored ringlets in her hair, eating funnel cake with her husband? Not often in REAL weddings (unless you had this kind of wedding in the DC area, then please, send it my way), and that is mostly the point of styled shoots – for vendors to exercise their creative bones, stretch the limits of “traditional” wedding design, hopefully inspire real couples to be unique/personal/outside the wedding industrial box, and have some fun.
So let’s have some fun with this State Farm inspired wedding elopement shoot on the blog today. Happy Friday Romancers – we’ll see you next week!
I put together a styled shoot to showcase a more dramatic and colorful approach to weddings. This shoot took place at the StateFair of Virginia located at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, VA. I designed the concept to be like the couple was eloping and running away to the State Fair.
