Hoping everyone had a FANTASTIC weekend! We had a blast working Jenn & Will’s wedding at the Loft at 600F (seriously becoming one of my favorite small wedding venues in DC) and then treating my husband to a wonderful father’s day yesterday. We started the day with a 4 mile run, and ended it with ordering dessert … twice at a new restaurant on H Street. As always, weekends come and go too soon but we’re back at it this week with a full week of blogging, a giveaway this afternoon, and our next DIY Workshop on Sunday (tickets still on sale – come have fun with us!). Now let’s kick off the week with a sweet engagement session from With Love & Embers.
Like many young couples in D.C., Julia and Kyle met at law school. They were in the same first year section, but remained friends and study buddies until the fall of their second year when Julia finally broke down and agreed to let Kyle take her out on a date. They have been crazy about each other ever since.
Five years later, while in New York City for the weekend, Kyle surprised Julia by proposing to her in Central Park. Their families both came to town to celebrate the engagement and made it a very memorable weekend.

It makes (irrationally?) uncomfortable that 600F does not list any prices on their website (that I can see.)
Monica – I wouldn’t be uncomfortable. Their prices are different based on floors used and time of day and such. Just talk with the staff there – they’re great to work with!
