So the Plain White T’s reference I made on Friday made me think of how much I miss good ole pop-punk music [ie. The Plain White T’s first two albums, not the crap they spew out now] . This cover from New Found Glory‘s quintessential “From the Screen to Your Stereo” album, was a favorite of mine in college. And ok, let’s face it, when it currently comes on my iPod, I’ll still sing the lyrics at the top of my lungs.
You keep me standing tall
You’ll help me through it all
I’m always strong when you’re beside me
I have always needed you
I could never make it alone
It would probably make my life to see someone use this song, in all it’s 90s whiny lead-singer glory, for their wedding, especially a choreographed first dance. I mean, there is an air-clap near the end of the song … an AIR CLAP people.
For the love of all things amazing, someone please do this. Then film it. And then let me share it.
Happy Monday guys!

As a good friend of that whiny lead singer I fully approve of this post!
