Today’s Real Capitol Wedding feature has color that will blow your mind. Set at the Tidewater Inn in Easton, Maryland, Allie & Matt had a beautiful wedding in a beautiful town…

Allie and Matt chose the Tidewater Inn because they love the small town feeling offered by Easton, Maryland. The Inn provided the ease of planning that comes with being able to offer ceremony space, reception space, and guest accommodations all in one. The wedding planning staff, too, are both undeniably kind and helpful and also incredibly efficient. There are so many wonderful nooks and crannies at the Inn from the brick patio with comfortable white rockers to the formal living room with overstuffed damask couches and a fireplace.

Allie, her maids, and the flower girl got ready in the giant bridal suite at the Inn while Matt and groomsmen prepared at the couple’s home nearby.
A long-time friend of Allie’s family married Allie and Matt ~ the officiant wove his blessings around the ideas of family, community, and joy leaving not a dry eye in the house.
After the ceremony, Allie and Matt wandered around Easton for portraits, having been fortunate enough to plan their wedding on the same day as a major antique car show. The car owners were more than happy to let us use their vehicles as props and backdrops!

Finally we finished the evening with a reception in the Gold Ballroom at the Tidewater, a space large enough to seat comfortably the 140 guests. The reception offered a few funny toasts, a heartfelt blessing from Allie’s brother in law, lots of emotion, and so much fun!
