Cutting down a submission from An Endless Pursuit is nearly an impossible task. I want to include every. single. image. that they send my way! There is a reason they are one of our recommended DC wedding photography vendors, which if you haven’t seen before, you will quickly learn why. They can just capture emotion in its purest sense and it’s slightly intoxicating to look at. Their images are breathtaking (seriously) and they perfectly cultivate each wedding to perfectly reflect the couples they work with.
Virginia and Ron’s wedding is no different, as An Endless Pursuit captured all the elements of their beautiful, outdoor DIY wedding. Virginia & Ron blended cultures, DIY projects, personalized touches (Krispy Kreme favors!) and so many gorgeous details into their Virginia wedding.

From An Endless Pursuit:
This outdoor, country wedding was a glorious day blended together with so many amazing elements that came together in one fantastic story. Virginia and Ron had DIY touches around the ceremony with programs that also served as fans to cool off guests in the August heat.
^This bouquet was hand-picked and made by the bride’s sister! UH AMAZING!
They had a Nike-themed ring box to represent where they both currently work and how they met.

So many personalized details and family involvement in their wedding day:
The hand-picked floral arrangements were put together by the Bride’s sister. They had postcards and travel themes from their world travels to over 36 countries. They included a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony to bring their family customs to life after the main wedding ceremony. Virginia and Ron’s cute dog, Stewie, was part of almost every aspect of the wedding day and the wedding party. Let’s also not forget the ice cream sandwich food truck that added a delicious ending to the reception.
They used light hearted words like “BFF” in their hand written vows and still moved their guests to tears with their immense sincerity.
And now, brace yourself for some STUNNING wedding portraits:
Time to PARTY! Gorgeous DIY decorations and details from their reception:
They gifted their love of Krispy Kreme which they shared with all of the guests, as well as coffee brewed from their home in Portland, Oregon. They even had a custom written guide for every guest to get to know the other guests sitting at their table to ensure nobody was left out.
They also had a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony during the reception:
AND a DC Food Truck! I love Food Trucks at weddings!
Virginia and Ron were two of the most fun people we have ever photographed or ever met. They made us and everyone around them instantly feel like family.
Congratulations Virginia & Ron ~ thank you for sharing your gorgeous personalized, DIY Virginia wedding with us. A special thanks again to An Endless Pursuit for submitting their stunning images to us via Two Bright Lights!

Which venue did they use? It’s gorgeous.
We got married at Whitehall Manor in Bluemont, VA. It is a gorgeous venue and we loved that it had everything we wanted/needed all in one place! And Doug was amazing to work with! So cool and easy going!
